Sun, May 9, 2004 - 5:40 PMi used to live in austin, and gibby had a radio show on one of the rock stations there for a while. most amazing shit ever. i still have a tape of the night after lollapolooza when he drank a quart of whiskey (stolen from a local music writer, ha!) and locked the engineer out of the studio. then he got mike watt on the phone and wouldn't let him go for like 1 1/2 hours. it was beautiful. dammit where is that tape?
we used to want to impregnate ourselves with his very special sperm to have his babies and raise them in boxes so they would turn out square. someone told us the gypsies used to do that.
oh man, that was back in the day... -

I saw Gib and his Prob at the kniting factory too back then and it was a great show.
The only thing missing was the Psycho intensity of the Paul Leary guitar.
Same problem with the P group and album. Great music but just a little lacking
for not having that psycho guitar element.
Check out both albums though for some great music.
